In partnership with Community Foundation North East, we’re hosting a half day conference exploring how place-based philanthropy can support local communities by investing in and promoting climate resilience.
This will be an opportunity to gather with local and national funders and philanthropists, voluntary and community sector organisations, local government, higher education institutions, and local infrastructure organisations. The speakers so far include:
- Tessa Khan, Founder, Uplift and Climate Litigation Network
- Emma Howard Boyd, Co-chair, Climate Resilience for All and former Chair, Environment Agency for England
- Tony Gates, Chief Executive, Northumberland National Park
