Summary
This session will focus on mobilising capital: Leveraging philanthropic capital for social impact
Our next Social Justice Funders Group meeting will focus on Mobilising capital: Leveraging philanthropic capital for social impact and specifically how this is enabling greater access to justice. We would like to explore the different ways organisations and funders could invest capital or endowments for public good, showcasing some of the ways this is currently happening.
Speakers include:
Law for Change & Esmee Fairbairn Foundation on how they have collaborated to fund litigation and access to justice
Edenreach will share their work to unlock pathways for up to $3.3 trillion in ethical capital to reach unmet legal needs globally, with philanthropic funding playing a key role. The focus is on enabling that capital to deliver measurable outcomes and be recycled, so that impact compounds over time.
CrowdJustice is UK’s leading crowdfunding platform for legal issues that brings communities together to make change through the law and helps them to raise funds for legal action.
We have reserved the room from 10:00am-12:00pm, so there will be some time to network afterwards so please do stick around.
