Summary
The Funder Safeguarding Collaborative will help you understand the safeguarding expectations of your trust or foundation, and offer practical steps to strengthen your safeguarding.
Over the last few years, trusts and foundations have made huge efforts to strengthen their safeguarding practices. This session will share the key learnings from this work and highlight positive funder practices from the ACF-FSC Safeguarding framework for foundations.
The session will help you to understand the safeguarding expectations of your trust or foundation, provide an opportunity to learn about different approaches to safeguarding and will allow you to begin to identify both the strengths and gaps in your approach. The session will provide you with practical steps to strengthen safeguarding in your organisation.
There will also be the opportunity for members to discuss some of the continuing safeguarding challenges faced by trusts and foundations, and the resources and support that is available to help address these.
