Summary
Equitable Evaluation Collective are holding an interactive roundtable discussion on advancing equitable evaluation
Equitable Evaluation Collective’s recent report, Evaluation as an Ecosystem: Cultivating Equity in the Garden of Transformation, highlights the need for change within the evaluation sector, particularly regarding funding practices and the dominant beliefs about what good evaluative practice looks like.
Building on this, the Equitable Evaluation Collective (EEC) are facilitating a roundtable discussion with funders and key infrastructure organisations. This roundtable provides a valuable opportunity to:
1) Critically examine: Current evaluation norms and how funding practices have contributed to inequity
2) Identify: Beliefs and mindsets that are barriers to creating an equitable evaluation ecosystem
3) Explore: Shared understandings of equitable evaluation from the perspectives of funders and infrastructure organisations
4) Develop: Actionable steps for funders and infrastructure organisations to cultivate equitable evaluation at individual, organisational, and collective levels
5) Unlearn and Reflect: To promote equity in our evaluation approaches and practices
Your participation will help us create a more equitable evaluation field. We are excited to hear your valuable insights and contributions.
