Summary
An interactive workshop presenting established and innovative approaches and tools to building an organisation-wide data and learning culture.
An interactive workshop which will present established and innovative approaches and tools to building an organisation-wide data and learning culture.
Together, we will work through practical ways of answering:
- What might a positive data culture look like in my organisation or network?
- What are the first steps to shifting my organisational culture and getting colleagues on board?
- How do I encourage colleagues who are less confident with collecting and using data and evidence, and create a psychologically safe environment?
- How can I create space for learning without overloading colleagues?
- Where should I start with drafting data principles, a data glossary, or a data strategy?
You’ll leave the workshop with a clearer understanding of your own organisational data and learning culture and examples and practical tools to help you take the next step.
This workshop will be of most use to staff that are: a) using (or would like to use) data and evidence regularly; or b) are developing organisation-wide approaches to monitoring and evaluation; or c) have a vision for the strategic use of data in their organisation, and the authority to implement this.
Speaker/presenter: James Bowles, Charities Aid Foundation.
