Summary

BBC Children in Need and City St George's University are holding an event for funders and charities exploring the links between children's mental health and neurodiversity

At BBC Children in Need we recognise that there is a connection between neurodiversity in children and mental health issues. For the first time, in partnership with City St George's, University of London we will be holding a conference on March 6th for funders and the charity sector.

We have a fantastic line up of experts, including Dr Trudi Edginton from City St George's University. They will be discussing what the evidence tells us about the interelationship, intersectionality, perceptions of behaviour, stigma and trauma.

As a funder, we believe in using our platform to highlight issues which are underrepresented and to bring people together to generate momentum, about the most critical issues facing children and young people.

The event will be held at City St George's University, Northampton Square, London, EC1V 0HB. The event is free and refreshments are included, but registration is required.
