Summary
VCSE Observatory report launch and collaborative workshop on Equity in Funding Practice research
The VCSE National Data and Insights Observatory at Nottingham Trent University is holding an event to launch a report about increasing equity in funding practice and the findings of recent research into the impact of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Data Standard on the UK funding landscape.
What to expect:
Report Findings – we will share findings from our equity in funding practice research, including visualisations of data collected under the DEI Data Standard, a rapid evidence assessment of studies relating to equity in funding, and narrative insights collected through interviews and an open survey.
World Café – participate in dynamic discussions to explore actions based on the report findings. There will be ample opportunity to reflect on the findings, share ideas, discuss opportunities, and solidify actions to instil lasting change.
We are keen that this is a participant-led event and that outcomes are co-produced to generate commitment. There is a need to increase this approach to knowledge production, and with your permission, we hope to use this event as an exemplar of co-production.
The draft research report will be shared with participants ahead of the event. The Equity in Funding Practice research project is commissioned by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation in partnership with City Bridge Foundation, The Henry Smith Charity, and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. The research is conducted by VCSE National Data and Insights Observatory in partnership with The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC).
We look forward to seeing you and, in the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us at VCSE Observatory
The event will be held at the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, 6thFloor, 210 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JY
