Aims and activities

The Plymouth Partners & Funders Forum meets quarterly, with the following aims:

  • Embed understanding of Plymouth's priority needs in funding decision-making
  • Use shared intelligence to maximise investment in the city
  • Mobilise support for need
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration and avoid duplication
  • Give voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations a place to advocate for supporting collaborations of small organisations
  • Share indicative funding allocations - helping to piece together the 'jigsaw of funding'
  • Deliver an annual multi-funder panel event - in a 'Dragon’s Den' format or another innovative way of encouraging collaborative funding bids from Plymouth
  • Share learning and challenge each other, in order to explore a fairer funding ecosystem.
