Aims and activities
Place Matters interactive map captures place-based projects tackling systemic challenges in collaboration with local stakeholders and their communities across the UK. Drawing on data from 15 funders, it is a snapshot of projects whose grants were active in Quarter One (January-March) 2024. Alongside the map we have published an ecosystem report sharing insights into the trends and patterns of systemic place-based working. The map and report will be updated annually.
The map and report captures projects that are aimed at a specific geography, seek to tackle a significant social challenge alongside partners from other sectors and involve members of the community in a meaningful way.
How to get involved
We will be capturing projects that have a live grant in place in Q1 2025 in Q2 2025. We would welcome other funders that support this type of work submitting data.
Please email Place Matters at admin@placematters.co.uk and we will discuss the process with you.
