Aims and activities
London Funders is the only cross-sector membership network for funders and investors in London’s civil society, bringing together public sector funders and commissioners, independent foundations, social and corporate investors, lottery funders and others. Our members invest in every aspect of London’s life, from the arts through to welfare, and they fund across all 32 boroughs and the City of London. We’re focused on collaboration – convening funders to connect, contribute and cooperate together, to help people across London’s communities to live better lives.
Recent funder collaborations co-ordinated by London Funders have included the London Community Response and London Refugee Response. London Funders also spearheaded and led on the ‘We Stand With The Sector’ statement. Signed by over 400 funders from across the UK (and Europe), the statement recognised the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on civil society groups and offered assurance that funders will stand by their grantees.
