Aims and activities

The LGBT+ Fund, powered by Consortium, are convening quarterly round tables to discuss and share how, as a collective of funders, we can do better at funding LGBT+ organisations. So far, this has included sharing the barriers faced within funding organisations and data use. We will also be discussing future topics such as strategic communications and wrap around support.

The main aim of the LGBT+ Funders Forum is to collectively come together to discuss the opportunities to do better at funding LGBT+ voluntary and community organisations, see if we can dismantle some of the barriers that have been created by process developed and not reviewed, and even discuss the potential of pooled funding for specific communities within the LGBT+ spectrum.

How to get involved

For anyone interested in getting involved please email LGBT+ Fund Development Manager emma.mm@consortium.lgbt to learn more about when the next round table will be held and what the theme of the conversation will be.
