Aims and activities

The East Midlands Funders Forum (EMFF) is a network of funders, grant-makers and investors who are interested in supporting the region's charity, community and social enterprise sectors.

Network meetings: Currently members meet on a quarterly basis via Teams, with one meeting per year in-person. The meetings provide the opportunity for members to share their own updates, listen to guest speakers and discuss relevant topics impacting funding and investment in the region. As with any network, one of the key benefits of attending or being a member of the EMFF is in building links with others.

Members of the network include large national funders, local foundations and trusts, and local statutory bodies. The wide mix of members enables the sharing of information and knowledge helping to improve local funding and investment practice and delivery.

In addition to the quarterly network meetings, the network has a WhatsApp group, enabling members to share information and news quickly and to raise any queries they have. The EMFF also publishes a monthly funding e-bulletin, promoting members and other national and local funds to the wider charitable sector.

How to get involved

The EMFF is always interested in hearing from funders and investors who want to support or find out more about the East Midlands region, with the network giving the opportunity to make links with those already working in the region.

If you are interested in attending one of the network meetings or want to find out more, please email James Kirkpatrick at Funding Support or call on: 07739 835909.

If you would like to receive the monthly e-bulletin, sign up here.
