Aims and activities
The Small Charities Coalition (SCC) recently announced that it is sadly closing down.
A group of funders have been supporting SCC to carry out a final evaluation of their work and to identify a new host for its Helpdesk and some other services that are greatly valued by many small charities. These services are now being transferred to a new partnership between NCVO and the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI).
How to get involved
The group of funders who have been supporting SCC with its closure and legacy are interested in identifying any other funders who may be interested in contributing to the costs of the services that are transferring to the new host organisations.
This may then prompt wider discussions about how funders can best support infrastructure focused on helping small charities beyond that.
If you are a funder who would like to get in touch and explore how you might help, please contact Duncan Shrubsole at Lloyds Bank Foundation.
