Aims and questions

Aims and activities

EQ Foundation is interested in how we can work together with other funders to scale the impact of UK charities (£500k-£2m) with strong leadership in important but “under-funded” areas - this could be through co-funding, expert pro-bono and referrals.

We would like to explore:

  • How best to identify the best led charities with greatest impact potential?
  • How to identify those in key thematic areas which remain unloved/underfunded for reasons like stigma, complexity or low profile (eg female offenders, excluded pupils, first 1000 days prevention of adverse childhood experiences)?
  • How to build a pipeline of charities, track and support them over time?
  • Sharing charity referrals and insights for the above, so we improve and build a pipeline.
