The Arts Funders Group is an informal network of independent funders, with a secretariat currently provided by Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Bringing together the senior leadership of 22 of the UK’s most significant arts and cultural funders, the Arts Funders Group meet every two to three months with three aims:

  • To share knowledge and intelligence
  • To hear from others in the sector about the key challenges and opportunities that are arising
  • To identify how we could together better support the sector as it deals with the impact of COVID-19.

The group have published research analysing the overall contribution of trusts and foundations to the UK’s arts funding ecology. This report is available here.
